Location: Riyadh/Khoubar
Reporting to:  CEO
1.     DETAILED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Business Alignment
o    Participate in developing the overall vision, mission and strategic direction for the company.
o    Develop the short term business plan of the company and submit for approval
o    Review and recommend the annual budget and manpower plan.
o    Responsible for the overall profitability
o    Suggest expenses control plans, policies, and procedures and monitor their implementation
o    Ensure timely preparation and submission of all reports and data required
o    Ensure opportunities to raise the business performance
o    Establish and periodically analyze Key Performance Indicators and continually monitor company performance against the agreed targets
o    Ensure continuous development and improvement of business processes to ensure optimal use of available resources
o    Provide leadership and inspiration to the company staff, ensuring employees take pride in meeting and surpassing individual and departmental objectives
o    Monitor market trend and changes as well as competitors in the market, and recommends proactive and corrective actions to mitigate risks associated with external threats
o    Participate in monitoring the company's investment portfolios which include ensuring business compliance, updating financial models & projections, and specific financial & investment research
o    Market company's image to the local and regional business community as a professional dealer in the real estate sector
 
Development Activities  
o    In coordination with the Development Manager, ensure successful delivery of development projects undertaken by the company
o    Ensure timely and effective support to the Development Manager in the execution of the projects.
o    Ensure the availability of appropriate and updated tools, methodologies and offer innovative and practical solutions to customers, tailored to their needs and expectations
o    Set in place required SLAs with the Corporate teams so that the BU team receives sufficient support from the Corporate team, and liaise with the CEO to ensure satisfactory level of service

Joint Venture Management   
o    Manage the relationship with Joint Venture partners and serve as the company's representative during meetings with JV partners

Reporting
o    Ensure that meaningful management information outlining key performance indicators is produced for the review and discussions with the CEO
o    In case of Joint Ventures, provide reports on key aspects of the project, as agreed in the JV agreement
o    Present company status updates to company BOD as per the finalized reporting framework (MIS)
 
Talent Management
o    Select, develop, motivate and retain a Leadership Team capable of achieving the business objectives of the company
o    Provide leadership to the company’s team and foster a culture of team spirit, co-operation and continuous self development within the BU
o    Ensure performance evaluation/appraisal to assess the productivity and progress of direct reports
o    Lead and guide subordinates by providing them with technical guidance, training and the required growth opportunities to ensure that subordinates are developed for higher-level roles
 

 

Job Requirements:

 

1.     MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Level of Education
Graduate in Engineering, with Masters degree in Business Administration or related field
 
Experience
10-15 years experience in a managerial position with at least 5 years in a GM role in the real estate sector
 
2.     KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Functional Knowledge
-      Extensive knowledge of the real estate sector
-      Awareness of commercial, legal and regulatory best practices 
-      PC Literacy including the ability to work with Microsoft Office
