Functional Responsibilities: Maintaining, acquiring, and implementing technology

Expected Undertakings:

• Forecasting & maintaining broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology and initiate acquisitions and implementation.
• Managing periodical presentations of new ideas and concepts for the product development staff before starting research processes.
• Coordinating continuously with product development division regarding innovative concepts to be executed as new models and lines.
• Manage installations, operations and technical maintenance.
• Train, supervise and motivate staff for organizing, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments.
• Implementing policies & procedures to minimize cost & risk without compromising the productivity & output.
• Pilot Serie manufacturing & development of new concepts.
• Contribution of technical inputs for Product development.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics of technical issues.
• Lead and guide technical and professional staff in the performance of research & development. Review and interpret, by comprehensive report, the result of research & development.
• Manage Projects and communicate regularly with Management regarding their status and obtain Executive guidance. Develop cost estimate of projects and monitor its control.
• Participate in long term strategic planning for the Organization.
• Design & finalize plans for corrective and preventive maintenance of various installations including HVAC, communication network, safety installation, calibration services and BMS.
• Strict adherence to safety standards & norms. Undertake risk assessment and ensure all equipment and manpower working in hazardous operations comply with health and safety standards.
• Oversee the facilities (maintenance) R& D, quality control and project management including the new plant building.
• All external agencies involved in inputs, supplies & technology, including machines & equipments for manufacturing in coordination with Manufacturing Management.
