Division: LOGISTICS DIVISION

Description:
    * Plan daily vehicle/driver requirements based on cubic meter order volumes, delivery schedule and best vehicle utilization
    * Establish efficient route planning process
    * Review vehicle type and mix on ongoing basis and make recommendations
    * Optimize use of computerized load planning
    * Establish and manage ‘cash van’ order fulfillment process
    * Provide day to day leadership of planning teams, set targets and monitor performance
    * Establish performance measurements and review
    * Deliver continuous service and operational cost improvements
    * Effectively communicate and report to logistics management team
    * Monitor security and implement improvements where necessary

    * A University Graduate – B.Sc. (Math, Science or Engineering preferred)
    * Relevant industry qualification or institute recognition i.e. Member/Fellow of Institute of Logistics and Transport
    * Minimum 5 years managing transport and fleet operations in a fast moving consumer goods environment
    * Food and grocery exposure
    * Modern operating methods obtained from Industry ‘s best practices including computerized load planning
