Job Description

  • Collection Managers oversee a business’ financial collection department. 
  • They supervise staff to ensure all money owed to the company is billed and received correctly and in a timely fashion. 
  • Collection Managers are generally the head of the collection department and answer to a company’s general manager or accounts manager.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in business or related field
  • This position requires to have at least 5 years of experience in collecting, accounts receivable or a related area.
  • A high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Word, and Excel) is required.
  • This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel.
  • Incumbent must be multitask oriented, organized, set priorities and meet deadlines and take pride in one’s work.
  • Has supervisory responsibilities on special projects concerning Collections.
  • They must possess strong leadership skills as well as the ability to work in teams. 
  • Excellent in verbal and written communication skills.
