Job Description

  • Maximize tenant occupancy at the Malls, through strong relationships with potential tenants and referral sources, excellent understanding of the local market and competing properties, effective lease negotiations and closing.
  • Participate in creating the leasing & pricing plans for the projects portfolio & deliver the revenue by carefully studying owner’s targets and considering relevant market information to meet the target and maximize revenue. 
  • Seek out & attract reputable new tenants & ensure the right tenant mix for the property by creating and maintaining relationships with key local and international tenants to ensure a competitive edge in the shopping mall market. 
  • Maintaining the projects leasing Data in professional manner to enhance Data management system and reporting on the portfolio level. 
  • Review proposed drawings and mall layouts to enhance the gross leasable area (GLA). 
  • Implementing tenant mix strategy to ensure the right positioning of the mall, maximize income, increase the value of the property and attract the right traffic. 
  • Develop leasing policies & procedures, criteria for selecting tenants and develop benchmarks for approved leasing agents in the market (local). 
  • Review and modify best leasing practices set by local and international companies to simplify leasing processes, save time and efficiently drive revenue & suppliers. 
  • Contribute to the design stage of the mall, sign long term contracts with major retailers by giving inputs in the design stage of the project and identifying profound anchor tenants to comply with retailers’ requirements and ensure long term success of the property. 
  • Manage key account of retailers either on regional or country level. 
  • Review job specifications, carry out interviews & support selection decisions by analyzing evolving job responsibilities to set candidate qualification. 
  • Produce comprehensive assessment leasing report on the portfolio level including replacement plan, tenant mix enhancement, new positioning and rent rate adjustment. 
  • Participating in leasing assessment of the new investment opportunity provided by owners providing best layout, positioning, expected revenue.
