Job Description

  • Manage Company’s Finance & Support Services division, including strategic, planning, operational and capability building activities.
  • Manage and own the development of Company’s Finance & Support Services strategy and strategic initiatives, in line with the company mandate and corporate strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the development of the departments business plans, budgets and KPIs.
  • Oversee the development of Finance & Support Services division manpower plan in line with HR guidelines.
  • Oversee the execution of Finance & Support Services division strategic initiatives, and ensure timely and on-budget execution.      
  • Oversee and manage the performance of the Finance, HR.
  • Involve the Vice Presidents in strategic discussions in order to build informed decisions and facilitate decision making.
  • Strive to resolve all escalations from the concerned departments, and escalate any unresolved issues to the CEO to further discuss and find the appropriate solutions.
  • Recommend resolutions and take necessary actions to eliminate any recurring issues hampering day-to-day business activities and functioning of Company’s business.
  • Steward and monitor financial planning and performance, and ensure the optimization of budget and cash flows for all projects.
  • Drive the financial planning activities and valuations, and assess the deal structures.
  • Ensure the company accounts are in order as per regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with lending institutions, investment bankers and the financial community in general.
  • Identify actions for mitigating financial risks and assign actions to owners.
  • Maintain Company’s manpower plan and budget.
  • Oversee the smooth operations of all HR activities and ensure overall staff satisfaction with provided services.
  • Review and approve consolidated status reports delivered by the relevant departments.
  • Perform any other duties as determined by the CEO and the Board of Directors.
  • Ensure the development and adherence to policies, processes, and procedures for the Finance & Support Services division.
  • Participate in corporate policies and processes development as a member of the senior management team
  • Ensure to build Finance & Support Services division capabilities by attracting and recruiting top talent in line with the manpower plan and in collaboration with the HR department.
  • Lead the annual assessment of the direct reports.
  • Identify overall training needs for direct reports and liaise with HR to provide training as required.
  • Remain abreast of industry best practices, and developments relevant to Finance & Support Services, and attend conferences as applicable.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or similar.
  • MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance would be highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 20 years of experience in financial planning, analysis and management, at least 5 years of which should be at a senior management level.
  • Advanced knowledge of KSA regulatory/ government requirements
  • Advanced knowledge and application of financial accounting practices and principles
  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources, 
  • Excellent strategic thinking capability
  • Excellent analytical thinking skills
  • Strong understanding and experience in the MENA economies and markets
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership and management
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced negotiation skills
  • Experience in devising and introducing new financial procedures and processes
  • Ability to synthesize complex or diverse financial information, collect and research data
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English languages
