Job Description

Job Objective:
To develop and lead implementation of strategies which shape future business and marketing delivery and provide the best possible service and information to stakeholders while ensuring compliance with college strategic objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participates in the departmental strategic planning and budgeting as well as Implementation of related Policies, Procedures and other required documents aligning to the University Objectives, Mission, Vision and Core Values.
  • Provide the direction for the business in its efforts to establish and increase market share, by generating enquiries through the effective identification of potential customers, understand their business requirements and present the University products and services in a manner that translates into business.
  • Spearhead business development initiatives which are supported by detailed plans and financial modeling.
  • Identify and develop revenue generation opportunities.
  • Develop strategic alliances with major firms, related associations, and other organizations.
  • Gather and analyze market information on new offerings or competitor activities as well as related service providers to maintain the University’s competitive edge in products, Pricing, services and systems; In order to leverage existing and new products and technologies to satisfy customer needs.
  • Research all revised regulations, rules and rates pertaining to the Business Development and update all departments on the same in a timely manner.
  • Build up excellent working relationships, liaising with and developing networks locally and regionally in order to generate & grow the business and thereby increasing volumes and profitability from that particular market.

Desired Profile

  • Master’s Degree or MBA in Business , Management or Quality related field.
  • 5 or more years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Experience in an online/el-leaing environment will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in Arabic and English is a must.
  • Must be flexible and strong interpersonal skills and be able to interact with all levels.
  • Energetic self-starter who can think and act independently.
  • Ability to be organized and detailed.
  • Strong leadership, management and problem solving skills.

Key Skills

Certification in Project Management is desirable.
