Job Description:
- The communications manager will provide a broad range of communication support to the organization in selling the programs.
- To support launching variety of marketing initiatives and sales-driven programs, campaigns, branch merchandising, collateral review and editing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans communications projects, including print, electronic, special events, point of purchase, and direct mail, to fulfill those aspects of the marketing plan.
- Assists in preparation of marketing plan, long- and short-term strategy, pricing policy, and budget.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual department budget, and tracks project costs to control expenses.
- Contracts and serves as liaison with outside consultants, copywriters, and advertising agencies.
- Correlates compatibility of promotion programs with public relations activities.
- Arrange for articles and interviews regarding organization's promotional activities, and ensures adherence to corporate identity standards.
- Develops and supervises maintenance of computer database of media contacts.
- Analyzes, interprets, and complies with government rules and regulations.
Desired Profile
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field.
- 5 or more years of experience in an academic environment.
- Excellent Written and verbal communication both in Arabic and English.
- Effective research and writing skills.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic.
- Resourcefulness in solving problems.
Key Skills
Proven experience in marketing communication.
